In order to speed up the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Changxing, the "Meet Hydrogen Energy in Changxing" - the Yangtze River Delta Hydrogen Energy Industry Summit Forum and the "National Science and Technology Workers Day" Talent · Science and Technology Activity Week, sponsored by the Energy Research Association of Changxing County and co organized by the Talent Office, Science and Technology Association, Science and Technology Bureau and other units in conjunction with Zhejiang Zheneng Smart Energy Technology Industrial Park and SEEEx TECH, was recently held in Changxing, Huzhou.
Gao Xiang, academician of the CAE Member, dean of Energy engineering College of Zhejiang University, director of the Baima Lake Laboratory, Andrei Ivanovich Ludz, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and president of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, respectively delivered speeches. Academician Rong Yichao, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and president of the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Military Civil Collaborative Innovation Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech on "Green Hydrogen Mobility - Carbon Reduction Practice and Industrialization Thinking of Lightweight Hydrogen Energy Transportation". Shi Yiting, secretary of Changxing County Party Committee, announced the launch. Gao Shenghua, Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, delivered a welcome speech.
During the event, the attending guests jointly visited and inspected enterprises such as Zhejiang Zheneng Smart Energy Technology Industrial Park and Suyu Technology Huzhou Production and Manufacturing Center, and experienced multiple hydrogen energy products on site. The SEEEx TECH Production and Manufacturing Center officially settled in the Zhejiang Energy Smart Energy Technology Industrial Park in April 2022.
Dr. Dong Zhen, chairman of SEEEx TECH, together with Xu Zhiying, deputy secretary general of Zhejiang Energy Research Association, Gao Mingxia, professor of Zhejiang University, Fan Qinglai, chairman of the board of directors and secretary of the general party branch of Zhejiang Energy Smart Energy Technology Industrial Park Company, Wang Ximing, researcher of Baimahu Laboratory, Zheng Xianling, strategic adviser to the president of China International Marine Containers Group, and relevant leaders of the enterprise, were invited to participate in the Yangtze River Delta Hydrogen Industry Seminar held in the afternoon. Dr. Dong Zhen presided over the meeting.
Xu Zhiying, Deputy Secretary General, said that regional coordination was very important in promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry. Changxing should strengthen close coordination with Zhejiang Province and the Yangtze River Delta; The Ministry of Transport is accelerating the green development of inland ships, and hydrogen powered ships will face good development opportunities. Professor Gao Mingxia stated that Zhejiang University has a strong research foundation in materials and structures, and enterprises should enter more universities and strengthen the integration of industry and academia. Researcher Wang Ximing stated that the Changxing Hydrogen Energy Base at Baima Lake Laboratory will build a large-scale hydrogen energy comprehensive experimental research platform that integrates functions such as hydrogen research and testing, equipment research and development testing, scientific and technological achievements incubation, and external public services. In the future, it will strengthen cooperation and cooperation with industry chain enterprises to jointly promote the development of Changxing hydrogen energy. Zheng Xianling stated that in 2019, hydrogen energy was first included in the "Government Work Report", which included hydrogen energy in China's energy system. In 2022, China issued the "Medium and Long Term Plan for the Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035)", which clarified the energy attributes of hydrogen. Energy and vehicle enterprises are entering the industry one after another, accelerating the closed-loop of the hydrogen energy industry. Japan, South Korea, which have low energy self-sufficiency rates Germany and China, which are urgently adjusting their energy structure, are important forces in promoting the hydrogen energy industry.
Finally, all parties present reached a consensus to further strengthen industrial chain collaboration and resource sharing, promote the construction of a hydrogen equipment industry cluster in Changxing, and assist in the development of Changxing's hydrogen industry.
